Joint venture info
On January 1st, 2022, Pro-MEC Engineering and IDC Corporation came together on a joint venture to form GridIron Manufacturing Services. Beginning in 2022, GridIron will be the sole supplier of machined components for both Pro-MEC Engineering and IDC Corporation.
Behind the scenes, GridIron has been working closely with IDC and Pro-MEC engineers to develop the Smooth Move line of AGV’s. The partnership of all three entities provides not only the AGV’s, but also the accessory components, such as companion frames, bolt on components and lift assists.
IDC
IDC works with a wide range of industrial customers, including lawn and garden equipment manufacturers, tier 1 automotive suppliers, and automobile manufacturers to develop custom automation controls tailored to specific applications. IDC also works with a variety of municipal customers to provide specialized pump controls and monitoring systems.
IDC provides the ability to design and build complete control systems with a UL listed panel-build shop. IDC also builds custom panels from prints supplied by the customer and provides customized PLC and HMI programming as specified in machine sequences and control designs provided by the customer.
Pro-MEC
Pro-MEC Engineering Services, Inc. began in 2000 to fill the need in the air pollution control and installation industry. Now a multi-faceted firm, Pro-MEC Engineering Services, Inc. has nine business units ranging from turn key installations/service, to testing/balancing and commissioning to steel/plastic fabrication and a UL Listed panel shop.
Our dedicated team of professionals are certified across our business units and we hold licenses in various industries. We are proud to serve customers across the globe and are certified in California as a Class A contractor, as well as a licensed electrical contractor in Michigan.
Expanding five times in our 20+ year history, our ever-increasing main facility is located in Grand Ledge, Michigan, USA and is home to our fabrication and panel building services.
